Job Purpose
Coordinate materials between production and warehouses, including receiving, returns, rejected materials, and reconciliations.
Manage SAP transactions for proper accounting and to minimize inventory variances.
Responsibilities
- Develop materials request reports in SAP from the production plan.
- Count and weigh materials received from warehouses.
- Return stock materials and rejected materials to warehouses through SAP transactions.
- Reconcile daily materials and finished-goods transfers and receipts with warehouses.
- Resolve SAP variances with the packaging supervisor.
- Support the Finance accountant during monthly inventory counts.
- Participate in continual improvement of the EHS Management System and maintain controls for workplace hazards and risks.
Qualifications
- No formal education is required; a relevant diploma is highly preferred when on-the-job experience is absent.
- One to two years of on-the-job training is required.
- Computer literacy, strong typing, basic data entry, and good typing speed are required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of production operations are required.
- Analytical and calculation skills are required.
