Inventory Controller cum Receiver

Job Overview

Inventory & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate **inventory records and stock entries** in the system
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or discrepancies
• Ensure proper **stock rotation (FIFO)** and minimize wastage
• Conduct regular **stock counts and audits**
• Receive goods from suppliers and verify **quantity, quality, and invoices**
• Ensure all received items are properly recorded and stored
• Coordinate with suppliers for any **damages or shortages**
• Assist in **daily cash receiving and handling**
• Support **cash closing and reconciliation** with POS reports
• Maintain records of **sales, purchases, and expenses**
• Prepare and manage **invoices, receipts, and vouchers**
• Assist in basic **accounting and documentation** similar to a shop accountant
• Prepare daily inventory and operational reports
• Maintain proper **filing and documentation** of all records
• Support management with **audit and reporting requirements**

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Commerce or related field preferred
• Minimum **1–2 years experience** in inventory, warehouse, or retail store operations
• Basic knowledge of **accounting and stock management**
• Familiarity with **MS Excel and POS systems**
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced supermarket environment
• Ability to communicate in English and Malayalam
• Male candidates prefer.
