The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Manager to lead inventory management strategies, stock accuracy initiatives, and inventory optimization programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory control strategies, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks aligned with organizational objectives, supply chain requirements, and operational goals
  • Manage end to end inventory control operations including stock monitoring, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, reconciliation, replenishment planning, warehouse coordination, and inventory reporting
  • Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehouse operations, manufacturing, sales, finance, technology, and executive leadership to optimize inventory performance and business continuity
  • Lead inventory planning activities including demand analysis, safety stock management, inventory forecasting, stock allocation, slow moving inventory reviews, and excess inventory reduction initiatives
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including inventory accuracy, stock availability, inventory turnover, carrying costs, order fulfillment rates, shrinkage, cycle count performance, and warehouse productivity
  • Establish and maintain inventory control procedures including stock movement controls, receiving processes, inventory classification, reconciliation processes, and inventory audit standards
  • Conduct inventory audits, physical stock counts, variance analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action plans to improve inventory accuracy and operational reliability
  • Analyze inventory data, demand trends, supplier performance, sales forecasts, and operational requirements to identify optimization opportunities and improve inventory efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean inventory practices, process automation, warehouse optimization, barcode and RFID technologies, AI powered inventory analytics, and digital supply chain solutions
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, financial controls, warehouse standards, safety requirements, and inventory management best practices
  • Utilize ERP systems, WMS, inventory management platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, demand planning tools, and analytics solutions to monitor inventory performance and generate actionable insights
  • Prepare inventory reports, stock analysis, executive dashboards, inventory forecasts, audit summaries, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Professional certifications such as CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, or equivalent are advantageous
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, supply chain management, logistics, materials management, or related roles
  • 2+ years of experience managing inventory teams, warehouse operations, inventory optimization programs, or supply chain improvement initiatives preferred
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, demand planning, stock optimization, warehouse operations, supply chain processes, inventory accounting, and operational controls
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, WMS, inventory tracking platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and analytics tools
  • Familiarity with barcode/RFID technologies, automated storage systems, Industry 4.0 solutions, AI powered forecasting, digital supply chain transformation, and inventory analytics is advantageous
  • Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, operational, project management, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, team leadership, reporting, and cross functional collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage inventory operations while balancing stock availability, cost optimization, accuracy, customer requirements, and business objectives
  • Ability to work independently in on site and hybrid environments with flexibility to support warehouse operations, inventory audits, and operational requirements
