Inventory Control Management Assistant

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with offloading and movement of stock within the warehouse.
• Count boxes and verify quantities received against shipping documents.
• Check received stock for accuracy and sort boxes according to the packaging list.
• Recreate and maintain packaging lists when required.
• Print and apply barcodes and labels according to the exact quantity received.
• Ensure stock is identified, labelled, and organised.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect stock immediately.
• Identify, segregate, and document wastage and maintain wastage records.
• Record stock arrival and wastage dates where applicable.
• Assist with stock verification, inventory counting, and reconciliation.
• Maintain records of stock movement and warehouse activities.
• Follow stock handling, storage, and documentation procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum education is 10th or 12th grade, with 10+2 preferred.
• Basic ability to read and write English is required.
• Basic computer knowledge is advantageous.
• Candidates must be physically fit and capable of handling boxes and warehouse duties.
• Hardworking, responsible, and punctual behaviour is expected.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, is required.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate records is required.
• Good attention to detail is important for counting, labelling, and verifying stock.
• Previous warehouse, inventory, packing, or logistics experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation

• Pay starts from AED 1,200 per month.

Workplace

• Work is performed in person in Dubai, UAE.
