About the Role
Baylor Scott & White Health is looking for an Inventory Analyst to manage and optimize warehouse inventory levels for the health system's distribution center. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience, 1 year of experience, and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities
- Ensure inventory items are restocked according to reorder points and amounts; target customer fill rate is 99.7%.
- Communicate all significant inventory information to the Director to facilitate shortage detection or problem resolution.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels within planning parameters; monitor reorder points and amounts monthly.
- Perform ABC examination to establish product usage and inventory levels and report information to leadership.
- Evaluate inventory replenishment cycles to balance labor, space, and customer need.
- Maintain and create entries in WMS (Lawson and FT) for stocking, assigning, and tracking products in DC reports.
- Review slow moving and zero balance reports; ensure slow moving and zero balance SKUs stay below 1%.
- Review product backorders daily and create a resolution method to ensure customer service is not compromised.
- Facilitate inventory reduction by returning excess products to vendors and ensuring proper credits.
- Help in the identification and removal of all product suspensions or recalls in the warehouse inventory.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- 1 Year of Experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Computer skills including inventory management software and Microsoft Office products
- Excellent critical and problem solving skills
- Advanced comprehension of warehouse distribution philosophy

- They communicate daily with vendors to optimize delivery dates and quantities for consistent inventory management.
