Responsibilities
- Perform minimally invasive image guided procedures including vascular and non vascular interventions using advanced radiological and fluoroscopic equipment
- Review imaging studies, assess patient history, and plan procedures
- Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate interventions
- Perform procedures such as Mechanical Thrombectomy, stenting, embolization, biopsies, and drainage
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and radiation protection standards
- Provide pre and post procedure patient counseling
Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and MD/DNB in Radiology
- DM/DNB in Neuro intervention and or GI interventions
- Advanced expertise in Radiology including diagnostic imaging interpretation, Ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopy
- Specialized skills in Interventional Radiology including planning and performing minimally invasive vascular and non vascular procedures
- Knowledge of Vascular interventions such as Stroke interventions, stenting, thrombolysis, and embolization
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards
- Experience in a tertiary care or multi specialty hospital setting preferred
