Requirements
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent)
- Completed residency in Internal Medicine
- Fellowship/specialization in Cardiology
- Additional subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology preferred
- Valid or eligible medical licensure for practice in Oman
- Proven experience in cath lab environments
- Proficiency in English required

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site role for an Interventional Cardiology Specialist based in Dubai, with relocation to Oman required.
- The specialist will perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the cath lab, including coronary angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.
- Daily responsibilities include assessing and managing patients with cardiovascular conditions, interpreting diagnostic tests, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- The role involves participation in on call rotas, pre and post procedure patient care, and coordination with nursing, anesthesiology, and electrophysiology teams.
- The specialist will also contribute to quality improvement activities, clinical documentation, patient education, and training of junior medical staff.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical foundation in cardiovascular disease and cardiology, with proven experience in managing complex cardiac conditions.
- Extensive hands on experience in cath lab environments, including diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures.
- Familiarity with electrophysiology concepts and procedures is an advantage.
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship/specialization in Cardiology; additional subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology preferred.
- Valid or eligible medical licensure for practice in Oman; GCC experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication, decision making, and problem solving skills.
- Commitment to evidence based practice, patient safety, continuous professional development, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in English required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is beneficial.
