Summary As the Lean Manufacturing & Operations Intern, you will support a strategic project at the Jebel Ali Service Center focused on increasing repair capacity. In partnership with operations and maintenance teams, you will help improve flow, optimize execution, and apply lean tools to deliver safer, more efficient, and more productive plant operations. Track actions, measure progress, and support implementation of practical solutions that improve plant performance Partner closely with operations and maintenance teams to align priorities, improve coordination, and remove constraints Deliver with speed, discipline, and resilience in a dynamic environment with ambitious transformation goals Analyze job flow and operational bottlenecks to identify improvement opportunities across the repair process Develop and update Value Stream Maps (VSM) to improve flow, reduce waste, and strengthen throughput Contribute to the design of lean lines, standard work, and operational playbooks to improve consistency and execution Drive work optimization initiatives using lean principles, structured problem solving, and data-driven analysis Support and participate in Kaizen events, 5S activities, and shop-floor improvement actions Help establish and sustain Daily Management System (DMS) practices, visual management, and operating rhythms Required Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or/and Operations Management, or a related field Max 2 years of project based, internships, trainings, or /and work experience. Strong interest in lean manufacturing, operational excellence, and process transformation Understanding of lean tools and concepts such as VSM, Kaizen, 5S, standard work, and waste elimination Strong communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint Desired Characteristics Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively across functions and engage directly with shop-floor teams. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and execute with urgency Exposure to manufacturing, repair, or industrial operations environments Familiarity with Daily Management Systems (DMS), visual management, or process improvement frameworks Experience in academic or internship projects related to capacity improvement, process mapping, or workflow optimization Demonstrated accountability, learning agility, and hands-on approach to problem solving Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No
