Internship Landman - Summer 2027

As a Landman Intern at Mewbourne Oil Company, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the land functions that drive exploration and development activities across the Anadarko or Permian Basins.

This immersive internship provides direct exposure to mineral ownership, title research, lease acquisition, contract negotiations, and the business relationships that form the foundation of successful oil and gas operations.

Interns work alongside experienced landmen, geologists, and engineers to develop a comprehensive understanding of how land, geological, and engineering considerations come together to identify and develop drilling opportunities.

Through project-based assignments, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration, interns will gain insight into the key processes that support exploration and development efforts.

This internship is designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience while helping interns build business acumen, negotiation skills, and technical knowledge of the oil and gas industry.

Interns are encouraged to ask questions, contribute ideas, and take ownership of projects that support the company's exploration and development objectives.
