Position Summary

  • Company: Cuisine Solutions, Inc. International
  • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  • Reporting Structure: Direct report to the Head of International; dotted line report to the U.S. based Corporate Controller
  • The International Controller will lead the accounting and finance functions for Cuisine Solutions’ businesses across Europe, Asia, and the UAE.
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, statutory and tax compliance, disciplined closing and forecasting processes, and effective support for business growth across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all accounting, controllership, and financial reporting activities for the European, Asian, and UAE entities.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial statements.
  • Manage consolidations and coordinate reporting to international leadership and U.S. corporate finance.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory reporting requirements, tax regulations, and internal company policies across all covered jurisdictions.
  • Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls, accounting policies, and finance processes that support scale, consistency, and risk mitigation.
  • Partner with business leaders to support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash flow management, and performance reporting.
  • Oversee external audits, statutory audits, and relationships with tax advisors, auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and cost controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Drive process improvements, systems optimization, and standardization across international finance operations.
  • Support legal entity management, governance requirements, and the set up or enhancement of finance infrastructure in new or evolving markets.
  • Hire, lead, coach, and develop local and regional finance team members, fostering accountability and high performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of International and the U.S. based Corporate Controller on reporting, controls, and strategic finance priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including significant controllership responsibility in a multi entity, multi country environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidations, internal controls, and compliance in international business environments.
  • Experience managing accounting operations across multiple jurisdictions, ideally including Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems, month end close disciplines, and management reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures, time zones, and business functions.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Required experience in food manufacturing, including exposure to production, inventory, cost accounting, and distribution within a complex operating environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally for up to two weeks per month, as business needs require.

  • You must be based in Dubai currently.
