Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of strategic plans and decision support materials
- Support governance and planning of modernization and transformation initiatives
- Perform system modeling, analysis, and project based engineering for automation and optimization
- Conduct in depth research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market opportunities
- Prepare and deliver quarterly, annual, and Board level management reporting packages
- Analyze and translate complex datasets into actionable insights using reports and dashboards
- Track strategic initiative execution against KPIs and provide updates to leadership
- Partner with stakeholders to establish KPIs and performance scorecards
- Maintain competitor intelligence and monitor key markets
- Support market sizing activities (TAM, SAM, market share)
- Provide monthly global revenue analysis by market
- Deliver ad hoc financial and operational analyses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering combined with an MBA or related discipline preferred
- Minimum 5 years of directly relevant experience in strategy, planning, analysis, or related fields
- Proven ability to act as a trusted business advisor
- Strong capability to navigate ambiguity and simplify complex challenges
- Demonstrated track record of driving process and system improvements
- Experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, valuations, and growth strategies
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and performance management
- Advanced project management experience
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot)
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills

Summary
- Reporting directly to the Group President, the International Business Strategy and Planning Analyst combines strategy development, business analysis, financial insight, and project execution.
- The role requires a naturally curious, analytical, and commercially minded professional who can balance detailed analysis with a broader business perspective.
- Provides exceptional exposure to executive leadership, enterprise wide challenges, and high impact growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, documentation, and execution of strategic plans, business plans, and decision support materials.
- Support governance and planning of modernization and transformation initiatives.
- Perform system modeling, analysis, and project based engineering to enhance automation, optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct in depth research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver quarterly, annual, and Board level management reporting packages.
- Analyze and translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights using reports, dashboards, charts, and models.
- Track strategic initiative execution against KPIs, providing regular updates, risk identification, and recommendations.
- Partner with stakeholders to establish KPIs, market indicators, and performance scorecards.
- Maintain competitor intelligence, including tracking annual sales, product developments, and market activities.
- Monitor key markets and projects, reporting on major developments and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering combined with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or related discipline is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of directly relevant experience in strategy, planning, analysis, or related fields.
- Proven ability to act as a trusted business advisor, collaborating across functions.
- Strong capability to navigate ambiguity, simplify complex challenges, and implement structured processes.
- Demonstrated track record of driving process and system improvements with measurable outcomes.
- Experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, valuations, and developing profitable growth strategies.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- Advanced project management experience, including leading analytical projects and cross functional initiatives.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
- Familiarity with industry specific software and tools is considered an asset.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with global, cross functional teams and managing complex projects.
Compensation
- Range: CAD 100,000 – CAD 135,000 base salary plus target incentive.
