The employer is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit team.

The role focuses on strengthening governance, risk management, and internal controls.

The position requires knowledge of banking operations, credit risk, and the UAE regulatory environment.

Plan and execute risk-based internal audits across banking and support functions.
Evaluate internal controls, governance, and risk management frameworks.
Audit credit processes, banking operations, finance, and regulatory compliance.
Identify control weaknesses, assess root causes, and recommend improvements.
Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management.
Monitor implementation of agreed management actions.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
3–6 years of internal or external audit experience.
Experience in a bank, finance company, or regulated financial institution is preferred.
Understanding of banking operations, credit risk, and operational risk.
Familiarity with the UAE regulatory framework and CBUAE expectations.
Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

CIA, ACCA, CPA, CFE, or CISA certification completed or in progress is advantageous.
Experience with data analytics, audit management systems, or regulatory audits is desirable.
