Internal Auditor

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits and reviews of financial, operational, and business processes.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify control gaps and potential risks.
• Prepare audit plans, working papers, findings, and detailed audit reports.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Review financial records, transactions, policies, procedures, and supporting documentation.
• Follow up on audit findings and monitor implementation of agreed recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, efficiency, and compliance.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly to management.
• Maintain proper audit documentation in accordance with professional standards.
• Support management with special reviews, investigations, and other assurance assignments when required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and internal procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant internal audit experience, preferably within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and audit procedures.
• Good knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
• CIA, ACCA, CPA, or CA certifications will be an advantage.

Compensation

• Pay starts from AED 4,000 per month.
