Responsibilities
- Plan and execute risk based audits including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow up
- Develop and contribute to risk assessments by understanding business processes and identifying key risks
- Perform detailed analysis of assigned processes to assess effectiveness of controls
- Plan and perform process walk throughs, design and execute audit testing procedures
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports with practical value added recommendations
- Monitor and follow up on agreed management actions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a business related discipline
- Professional designation in Auditing (CIA), Accounting (CPA), or Engineering (P.Eng.), or willingness to pursue CIA or IAP
- 3 to 10 years of audit and/or oil & gas industry experience
- Strong risk assessment, project management, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills

The Opportunity
- Canadian Natural Resources Limited is seeking an Internal Audit Analyst to add value and drive operational improvement.
- Role performs full audit lifecycle across business areas including operational, financial, compliance, IT/cybersecurity.
- Location: Calgary, Alberta. Work schedule: 5x2, 8 hour shifts, Monday Friday.
