Role Overview
This is an engineering QA internship with real responsibility rather than an educational placement by default.
The role covers quality across user-facing applications, backend services, APIs, integrations, and internal tools.
Interns work with production systems under senior review and are expected to think system-wide about quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in end-to-end testing of product features and system integrations.
- Perform manual testing where appropriate and automate tests that should be automated.
- Contribute to API, integration, and end-to-end automated test suites.
- Maintain and extend test frameworks and test data.
- Validate interactions between services, clients, and external systems.
- Participate in release testing and regression cycles.
- Analyze bugs, verify fixes, and contribute to root-cause analysis.
- Work with engineers and product managers to improve testability.
Skills and Expertise
- Knowledge of at least one programming language; Go is preferred.
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and deterministic versus state-dependent program behavior.
