What this Department does
The IT Infrastructure department:
Provides support to end users for basic computer, application, system, device, access and hardware issues.
Identify, research and resolve technical problems.
Responds to telephones, email and online requests.
Documents, tracks and monitors problems using applicable system and tools.
Serves as first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance.
May coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems.
What will you do
You will be part of a Team working together to accomplish daily tasks. We strive to have our interns take on the same responsibilities as our regular staff do. You will quickly learn the current process, use published documentation, and work on customer support tickets to resolve end-user issues/requests.
You can expect
Responsibilities include supporting all production and development systems, troubleshooting, and resolution of desktop computers, applications, and related technology.
Generates tickets from inbound calls, emails, walk-in customers, and chat sessions, and records detailed progress and resolutions for all tickets accordingly.
Perform system software upgrades and install service packs and patches as needed.
Delve into and achieve an understanding of a problem or request to offer the most appropriate possible solution.
Configure, modify, and repair computer hardware including monitors, keyboards, and printers.
May perform various changes to user accounts via Active Directory.
