As an Electrical Engineering Intern within our Buildings team, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the design and analysis of technology systems that help create smarter, safer, and more connected built environments.

Working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to projects that enhance communities, improve infrastructure, and support sustainable development.

• Support the design and analysis of technology systems, including security, communication, and audiovisual (AV) systems for buildings, infrastructure, industrial, and energy-related projects.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, reports, and technical memoranda that contribute to project success.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and multidisciplinary project teams to develop innovative solutions.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, condition assessments, and field investigations.
• Review applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements to support compliant designs.
• Assist with project coordination activities, documentation, and communication across project teams.
• Contribute to project outcomes that enhance communities, improve infrastructure, and support sustainable development.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering degree program.
• Returning to full-time studies upon completion of the internship term.
• Strong interest in technology design, security systems, communication systems, building systems, infrastructure, industrial facilities, or renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, or other engineering software is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with an eagerness to learn.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a consulting environment.
• A valid driver's license is considered an asset for positions involving fieldwork and site visits.

MB & ON: $23.20 - $30.55 per hour

Atlantic Provinces & QC: $22.20 - $30.55 per hour

The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
