As an Intern, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, you will work alongside experienced professionals within our M&E Technology Team, gaining hands-on exposure to the design and delivery of Integrated Technology Systems.

This is an opportunity to develop technical expertise, contribute to meaningful projects, and build the foundation for a successful engineering career.

Your Impact

  • Support the review and development of Building Technology Systems designs and drawings, including IT, Security, and Audio Visual solutions.
  • Assist with field data collection, analysis, and project coordination activities.
  • Prepare design calculations, drawings, sketches, technical reports and papers.
  • Assist in providing technical advice to clients and project teams (consultants and contractors).
  • Manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to quality, accuracy, and deadlines.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and continuous improvement of company practice systems.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Electrical or Electronics Engineering program, or pursuing a Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology.
  • Working knowledge of Revit/BIM/AutoCAD.
  • Desire to work toward P.Eng/P.Eng (L) or equivalent designation.
  • Ability to identify technical challenges and opportunities and develop practical solutions.
  • Experience working effectively within virtual and multidisciplinary team environments.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Driver’s License (Class 5) and access to a vehicle with insurance is preferred.

Compensation

BC, AB, SK, NWT & NU: $24.80 – $32.65 per hour MB & ON: $23.20 – $30.55 per hour Atlantic Provinces & QC: $22.20 – $30.55 per hour
