Job Description
WSP is seeking an Architecture or Structural Engineering graduate or final-year student to join its Sharjah office as an intern.
The intern will support multidisciplinary design teams delivering architectural, landscape, and utility infrastructure projects across the UAE and wider Middle East.
The opportunity provides hands-on exposure to engineering and design practices while developing technical skills in a collaborative professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Support architecture, landscape architecture, and utilities teams in preparing design drawings and technical documentation.
- Assist with concepts, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and engineering details.
- Coordinate design information across civil, structural, utilities, landscape, and architectural disciplines.
- Contribute to presentations, reports, and project deliverables.
- Assist with quantity take-offs, technical research, and material or product investigations.
- Review and organize project documents and drawing registers.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and record actions when required.
- Update BIM and CAD models in accordance with project standards.
- Undertake site visits when required to gain exposure to project delivery and construction activities.
- Support general engineering and design-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or graduated with a bachelor's degree in architecture, structural engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in infrastructure, urban development, architecture, and multidisciplinary design projects.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
