Intern Accountant

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accounting records, ledgers, and documentation.
• Help with bank reconciliations and data entry.
• Help prepare basic financial reports and maintain organized financial files in line with UAE compliance requirements.
• Support senior accountants in audit, tax, and reporting tasks.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
• Maintain and organize accounting documents.
• Assist audit and tax teams with documentation.
• Perform other assigned accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (data entry, basic formulas).
• Willingness to learn accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Professional attitude and ability to work in a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Availability to work full-time during office hours.
• Valid visa to work in the UAE.
