Intermediate System Administrator (VDI/Endpoint) - PAE Fires IT Support (AL, Huntsville)

Position Responsibility Summary

• Primary Function - VDI Administration (PWS 1.16.3, 1.16.3.1): Administers VDI desktops, provides backend hardware troubleshooting and maintenance for PCs and PEDs, and delivers user orientation and training on systems. Bridges the back-end infrastructure to user-facing endpoints across approximately 3,500 users.
• Cross-Functional Service Desk Escalation (PWS 1.16.6.1, 1.16.6.2 ):** Cross-trained in Service Desk User Support and Technical Guidance to serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for complex VDI and endpoint issues. Engages directly from the ticket queue for persistent VDI image failures, profile corruption, or endpoint performance degradation, diagnosing the root cause at the infrastructure level to maintain a seamless user experience.
