Associated Engineering, a proudly Canadian, Employee-owned Company is seeking an experienced and dedicated Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our team in our Kelowna office. In this role you will be responsible for bridge design, inspection and rehabilitation projects. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team active on structural projects with a focus on the bridge sector.

Lead bridge design, inspection and rehabilitation projects with the support of senior staff and further develop proficient skills in all areas of project delivery, including:
Inspection and assessment of existing bridge structures for municipal clients.
Design of concrete rehabilitation for municipal bridges.
Design of municipal and highway bridges.
Design of earth retaining structures.
Tender package preparation including developing supplementary technical specifications for use with the MMCD contract document framework.
Contract administration in accordance with MMCD.
Registered, or eligible for registration, as an Professional Engineer with EGBC.
4+ years of structural bridge engineering experience.
Undergraduate degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Committed team player and the ability to work independently.
Leadership potential.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Interest in strengthening and growing your abilities through a range of projects focused on the delivery and management of structural projects.
Interest in developing a career path focused on technical leadership, project management, client management, or a combination based on your career aspirations and qualifications.
