Wood is seeking an Intermediate Project Engineer to provide engineering and procurement support across a variety of projects within our Oil, Gas & New Energies Canada team. The role will support the coordination of engineering, contracts, procurement and project controls activities while helping ensure delivery against cost, schedule, technical, HSSEA and quality requirements.
Our projects team has a long history of delivering some of the biggest and most complex projects in the Canadian oilsands, along with associated pipelines and refinery infrastructure. * Registration as a P.Eng. with a minimum of 7 years of broad experience in Oil, Gas & Chemicals projects or EPCM consulting projects * Experience with engineering design, engineering progressing, procurement package development, contract development, scope of work writing, EWP definition, quantity management, change control and scheduling/planning * Demonstrated knowledge of engineering quality management and the application of engineering principles across multidisciplinary projects * Experience coordinating engineering deliverables, procurement activities and project schedules * Effective organizational skills with the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment * Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work with people at all levels * Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood now or in the future
* Eligibility for registration in the USA * Formal Project Management training
