Role Overview
We have an existing opening for a Programmer Analyst to join our team! Candidates that reside in Edmonton or the Greater Toronto Area are preferred, however candidates anywhere in Canada will be considered (Flexible Remote Work Arrangements) The Programmer Analyst works in a team environment to build, enhance and maintain software systems that support our business divisions and clients. The Programmer Analyst interacts directly with users to determine and refine requirements and works both alone and in teams to deliver solutions to those requirements in alignment with best practices. Development of new systems and features, coupled with on-going maintenance of existing systems provides the Programmer Analyst with end-to-end visibility and responsibility through the entire application lifecycle.

Organizational Alignment
Operational effectiveness and efficiency: work closely with IT Managers, IT peers, and Operational staff
Staff Supervision: none
Customer Service: deliver prompt and professional responses to user requests, communicate effectively to ensure solutions deliver tightly against the business need
Quality: ensure coding, testing, operational and documentation best practices are adhered to
