Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements
Promote a strong safety culture through safe design practices and participation in risk assessments
Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and quality assurance processes
Work on complex site development projects including large-scale grading, access roads, drainage systems, and earthworks optimization
Gain exposure to both greenfield and brownfield energy projects
Contribute to continuous improvement of design standards, tools, and workflows
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

More from this employer
5–10 years of relevant experience in earthworks, site development, and/or civil engineering design
P.Eng designation (or actively working toward) is preferred
Strong organization skills and proficiency in calculation spreadsheet development using MS Excel.
Solid understanding of grading, drainage design, and geotechnical principles Competence to work independently on grading engineering for projects.
Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work within project timelines
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external stakeholders
Underground storm system engineering experience considered an asset
Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD considered an asset
