The Controls Engineer/Technologist is responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning advanced control systems to meet client and project specifications.

This is a full-cycle role where you’ll work on everything from design and programming to on-site commissioning, making it an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on technically challenging and rewarding work.

• Control System Design: Lead the design and layout of electrical control systems from concept to completion, ensuring they meet customer and project specifications.
• Electrical Design: Develop detailed electrical schematics and layouts using tools such as AutoCAD or EPLAN while adhering to relevant standards, including UL508a and ISO 13849.
• PLC Programming: Program and debug control logic for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), including Allen-Bradley, Siemens and Beckhoff systems, both from scratch and based on existing programs.
• HMI Programming: Design and program Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces tailored to client needs.
• Site Commissioning: Work as part of a team or independently oversee the commissioning of control systems at customer sites, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance.
• Functional Specifications: Draft detailed functional specifications that guide the design and implementation of control systems.
