Role Overview
The Intermediate Application Developer will help modernize a legacy system and convert it into a cloud-based application used daily by UPS Operations worldwide.
The role applies software engineering principles across application design, development, maintenance, testing, evaluation, integration, and implementation.
Core Skills
- Full-stack development experience with Java, Angular, and SQL is required.
- Familiarity with Angular 16 or later, containerization technologies, CI/CD, Git, and Maven is required.
- Experience with C#, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Couchbase, JFrog, Azure DevOps, and Visual Studio is required.
- Experience with GCP, Azure DevOps, cloud technology, and Ready API is preferred or advantageous as specified in the posting.
- Agile development experience and strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate software applications and related programs.
- Manage systems lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- Research emerging technologies, support application integration, and develop logic for new or existing applications.
- Analyze requirements, integrate application components, and ensure system improvements are implemented successfully.
