Position Purpose
The Intermediate Analyst, Advancement Services supports university fundraising and engagement outreach through prospect research, pipeline management, analytics, and data tools.
The role sources, identifies, researches, and tracks prospects and constituents and provides training on systems and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct prospect research, analyze pipelines, and advise advancement staff and senior leadership on strategies for prospect development.
- Use research, data mining, and analytics to identify prospects and track movement through pipeline phases.
- Develop prospect and pipeline management tools, databases, dashboards, and performance reports.
- Train advancement staff on pipeline coding, systems, and reporting and troubleshoot related questions.
- Maintain records, validate data, protect confidentiality, and identify system and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Degree in library sciences, information management, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years of related experience in advancement research, prospect management, or fundraising in higher education or nonprofit settings.
- Bilingual French and English capability, strong analytical skills, and knowledge of fundraising, prospect research, and moves management.
