Design and Drafting
- Create detailed 2D floor plans, elevations, section drawings, and joinery details using AutoCAD.
- Assist in producing 3D renders that align with client requirements.
Materials and Site Surveys
- Research, source, and sample materials including SPC or LVT flooring, paint finishes, fabrics, and wall coverings.
- Visit project sites to take accurate physical measurements and document existing site conditions.
- Note MEP and structural restrictions identified during site surveys.
Client and Estimation Coordination
- Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and technical layout options for virtual or face-to-face client meetings.
- Coordinate finalized 3D concepts with the estimation team and detailed Bills of Quantities to support quotations.
Site Coordination
- Coordinate with site supervisors, carpenters, and painters to ensure design intent, materials, and measurements are executed accurately.
Documentation
- Organize and maintain design files, revisions, material catalogs, and client-approved drawings.
Software Skills
- AutoCAD, 3DS Max or SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office are identified as required software skills.
Requirements
- Experience creating detailed 2D floor plans, elevations, section drawings, and joinery details using AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of 3DS Max or SketchUp for producing 3D renders.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and MS Office.
- Ability to research and source materials such as SPC or LVT flooring, paint finishes, fabrics, and wall coverings.
- Ability to conduct accurate site measurements and document existing conditions, MEP restrictions, and structural restrictions.
- Ability to coordinate design concepts with detailed Bills of Quantities and quotations.
