Role overview

Duties and responsibilities

• Welcome new customers and families by phone and explain what to expect.
• Inform customers about additional services and applicable business or program obligations.
• Collect customer, healthcare, insurance, billing, credit card, and order information.
• Clarify or obtain missing medical documentation from clients and physicians.
• Contact insurers and third parties about benefits, limitations, authorizations, and documentation.
• Record and maintain referral, customer, healthcare, insurance, order, and communication information.
• Respond to calls, emails, faxes, and other communications and direct inquiries as needed.
• Process initial and recurring orders, financial aid or payment plans, and self-pay payments.
• Coordinate billing and submit orders before daily cutoffs.
• Coordinate medication, equipment, supply, and service fulfillment with appropriate teams.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners for a seamless experience.
