Role Overview
Lead the organization's corporate insurance portfolio and insurance-risk management activities.
Manage risk transfer across the UAE and GCC in coordination with internal functions, insurers, brokers, regulators, and business partners.
Oversee insurance strategy, policy placement, renewals, coverage, claims, compliance, and due diligence.
Strategy and Portfolio Management
- Develop insurance strategy, policies, procedures, standards, governance, and approval processes.
- Maintain records of policies, insurers, brokers, limits, deductibles, premiums, exclusions, endorsements, and claims.
- Assess insurance requirements and identify coverage gaps across business operations.
- Lead renewals, prepare submissions, review quotations, negotiate terms, and obtain approvals.
- Manage claims, certificates of insurance, broker relationships, insurer relationships, and policy administration.
Coverage Areas
- Manage applicable property, business interruption, liability, professional indemnity, D&O, cyber, crime, marine, motor, employee, construction, environmental, travel, political risk, and trade credit insurance.
- Review declared asset values, property exposures, replacement-cost requirements, and loss-prevention recommendations.
