Role Overview
La Familia Medical Center is seeking an Insurance Coordinator / Call Center Representative.
The role combines patient communication, appointment coordination, and healthcare insurance administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing patient calls and WhatsApp inquiries.
- Book, confirm, reschedule, and follow up on patient appointments.
- Coordinate insurance coverage, approvals, and required documents with patients.
- Submit and follow up on insurance pre-approval requests.
- Communicate with insurers about approvals, denials, eligibility, and benefits.
- Verify insurance cards, Emirates IDs, and policy information.
- Explain coverage, copayments, deductibles, and cash payment options.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, reception, and billing teams.
- Maintain accurate patient and insurance records.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service.
Requirements
- Three years of insurance experience is required.
- Healthcare, clinic, hospital, insurance department, or healthcare call center experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE medical insurance procedures and pre-approvals is advantageous.
- Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
