Insurance Account Handler

About the role: As the Personal and Commercial Insurance Account Handler within our team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business whilst ensuring customers are always happy. Providing exceptional customer service, you will handle enquiries and complete insurance policy changes with a “can-do” proactive enthusiasm. You will also enjoy sales and spotting opportunities for growth. You will relish the challenge of being part of a truly customer focused, ambitious team. About you:

Experience of working in the Insurance/Financial Services industry is preferred, but not essential, with a good understanding of compliance procedures

The ability and desire to learn new systems, products, processes and skills

Someone who can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients

Pro-active with the ability to work independently

A confident & effective communicator, both written and verbal

A proficient IT user with good interpersonal skills and communication skills. Experience with Customer Relationship Management Systems is an advantage

A problem solver who enjoys working as part of a team with a positive can-do attitude

Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks

Minimum of Grade C in GCSE Math’s and English (or equivalent)
