About the Role
Global Projects Services (Saipem) seeks an Instrumentation Engineer for an offshore Qatar project. The role involves design, checking, layout definition, and engineering of process measuring sensors and actuators.

Responsibilities
- Perform project technical tasks including design, checking, layout definition, installation drawings, and material definition
- Interface and coordinate with project team specialists and designers
- Prepare instrumentation elements quantities for cost and erection estimates
- Review client technical documentation and requirements
- Coordinate subcontracted engineering activities and control documents
- Define engineering design basis and guidelines
- Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, installation specifications and drawings, BOQs and MTOs
- Participate in P&ID mechanization and 3D modeling design activities
- Validate vendor control valves and safety valves sizing calculations
- Participate in FAT activities at vendor workshop
- Provide technical and engineering support to construction team during construction and commissioning
Requirements
- Experience in instrumentation engineering for offshore projects
- Knowledge of design, layout, and installation of instrumentation elements
- Ability to prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and BOQs
- Familiarity with P&ID and 3D modeling
- Experience with FAT activities and vendor coordination

- Perform Project technical tasks assigned by the Instrumentation Discipline Lead consisting in design, checking, layout definition, installation drawings and material definition, validation, testing and engineering of process measuring sensors, process actuators, installation elements and process saf

- Coordinate technical activities performed either by insourcing either by outsourcing

- Construction and start up: Provide technical and engineering support to construction Team; Perform site engineering activities during construction and commissioning phases
