Project Overview
ISS International is seeking an Instrument Field Surveyor for a tags registration project involving oil and gas plants in the UAE.
The role is designated as office/field work and covers instrumentation surveys, data validation, and survey database support.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys of instrumentation and control equipment in operating facilities.
- Identify instruments, transmitters, switches, control valves, actuators, and associated devices.
- Collect equipment identification data, nameplate information, tag numbers, specifications, and other technical information.
- Verify field data against P&IDs, Instrument Indexes, datasheets, loop diagrams, equipment lists, and other engineering documentation.
- Recognize instrumentation types and understand common measurement technologies.
- Identify control valves, actuators, installation arrangements, impulse lines, manifolds, tubing, junction boxes, and field accessories.
- Identify discrepancies between field conditions and engineering documentation.
- Support instrumentation master data and field survey database preparation, review, and validation.
- Maintain accurate, traceable, complete, and consistent survey records.
- Comply with site HSE requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and access restrictions.
