Work Arrangement

  • Hybrid arrangement involving the Langley, British Columbia office, home office, and field visits.

Role Overview

Deliver technical training in an engaging learning environment for Mazda retail partner technicians.

Support improved customer experience and service retention through technician training.

Training Delivery

  • Teach maintenance and repair procedures, new technology theory and operation, MGSS, and the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System.
  • Facilitate virtual, regional, and offsite classroom sessions for retail partner technicians.
  • Communicate training schedules and information through One.Mazda, MGSS, and Mazda Brand Academy in English and French.

Training Administration and Materials

  • Support development of technical training courses and materials.
  • Develop, update, and post pre-delivery inspection sheets on MGSS.
  • Maintain attendance and training records in the learning management system and track course evaluations.
  • Maintain the regional training facility, tools, and equipment.

Instructional Design Support

  • Support the MazTech Service Skills Competition with tests, rules, vehicles, and competition activities.
  • Review new eLearning courses and provide feedback.
  • Help create course presentations, guides, handouts, on-vehicle activities, and outlines.
  • Support technician and master technician training plans, exams, hands-on testing, and recognition criteria.

Travel

  • Occasional travel is required to regional offices, international meetings or train-the-trainer sessions, and offsite college locations.

Salary

  • Hiring salary range is $86,500 to $107,500 CAD per year.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate technical training schedules and information in English and French.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to regional offices, international meetings or train-the-trainer sessions, and offsite college locations.
