Hours of Work : Shifts between 5:45 am to 10:00 pm including weekends
Position Status : 2 continuing, part-time positions
Reporting to the Head Lifeguard, the Instructor/Guard will be responsible for assisting with planning and delivery of programs, ensuring safety and supervision of patrons, and completing all records and reports related to aquatic programs.
The individual will instruct various aquatic programs and assist with the planning/delivery of core and lesson plans.
They will complete records and reports related to aquatic programs and perform daily office procedures, bather loads, checklists, and program statistics.
They will provide leadership to student staff and respond to emergencies.
The will also assist with staff in-services, orientation and training.
The individual will also be required to perform light cleaning duties and other duties as assigned.
