Edgesource Corporation is seeking a Cybersecurity SME / Instructional Designer to assist our DHS customer in the development of cybersecurity courses. SME must be familiar with a range of cybersecurity topics and issues and knowledgeable of emerging technologies, threats, and vulnerabilities. SME will develop both synchronous and asynchronous training materials utilizing the ADDIE process. SME will also support the O&M / update of existing courses and support the conversion of course materials for online learning to include working with technical experts in supporting a VLE / LMS and Cyber Range for online skills training. SME must demonstrate flexibility in developing a range of courses to include 1 hour seminars to multi-day training courses.
Requirements:
Public Trust
5+ years of related experience
Bachelor's degree. Instructional Systems Design, Instructional Technology, Learning and Development, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is desired.
Be able to work some live instruction
Preferred:
Familiar with the ADDIE method
Familiarity with DHS CISA/CDM Mission
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Experience using web-based authoring tools
Strong attention to detail, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
