- Perform rack installation, structured cabling, hardware deployment, validation, and troubleshooting
- Work closely with Network Engineering, Operations, Security, and Logistics teams to execute infrastructure builds
- Proactively identify risks, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Requirements
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Experience in computer networking
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks
- Knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Knowledge of network design, protocols and Layer 1/2 troubleshooting
- Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science
- Knowledge of server hardware and components

Overview
- AWS Infrastructure Delivery owns the end to end design, planning, delivery, and operation of global AWS infrastructure.
- The team supports every AWS data center and the full stack of critical infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems.
- We are seeking an ID Install Technician to support network infrastructure deployment and expansion within next generation data center environments.
Key job responsibilities
- Support deployment of next generation network infrastructure across global data centers.
- Rack installation, structured cabling, hardware deployment, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with Network Engineering, Operations, Security, and Logistics teams.
- Proactively identify risks, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience in computer networking.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
