About the Role
AtkinsRéalis seeks a Landscape Inspector in Riyadh to implement quality management and site supervision for landscape works. The role involves inspections, material testing, and ensuring compliance with contract documents.

Responsibilities
- Keep, monitor and follow up as necessary and maintain complete records concerning the execution of the works
- Inspection, sampling and testing of materials to assure compliance with contract specification
- Identify non conforming work or materials, notify contractor and keep a record
- Assist in review and forward comments on contractor's method statement for execution of works
- Assist in review and forward comments on contractor's technical submittals
- Attend site technical coordination meetings to discuss contractor submissions, shop drawings, material submittals and construction related matters
- Carry out final inspection for certification of final completion and handing over of works
- Inspect work done by contractor(s) to ascertain execution in accordance with Contract Documents
- Inspect on site and off site materials and organise field and laboratory tests
- Identify potential safety concerns and inform contractor(s)
- Review site progress and assist in review of contractor's interim payment application
- Liaise with RE for effective implementation of quality management systems and site supervision
Requirements
- Minimum Civil or Architectural Engineering/Diploma qualified
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Landscape (Soft/Hard)
- Previous site inspection experience
- Understanding of British, American and International design standards
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English

Overview
- To implement all aspects of the quality management systems and site supervision activities related to the landscape Works across the project
- Perform inspections to deliver quality installations in accordance with contract documents, relevant international standards and local authorities' requirements
Your Role
- Keep, monitor and follow up as necessary and maintain complete record(s) concerning the execution of the works
- Inspection, sampling and testing of materials to assure that compliance with the contract specification
- Identify non conforming work or materials, notify contractor and keep a record. Follow up corrective and preventive measure taken by the Contractor
- Assist in the review and forward comments on the contractor's method statement for execution of the works
- Assist in the review and forward any comments on the contractor's technical submittals
- Attend site technical coordination meetings to discuss contractor (s) submissions, shop drawings, material submittals and construction related matters
- Carry out the final inspection for certification of final completion and handing over of the works
- Assist in the review and forward comments on the Technical Query raised by the contractor
- Inspect the work done by the contractor(s) to ascertain that work is executed in accordance with the Contract Documents and accepted practice
- Inspect the on site and off site materials to be used in the project and organise field and laboratory tests
- Identify potential safety concerns and inform the contractor (s)
- Review the site progress and assist in the review of the contractor's'interim payment application
About You
- Minimum Civil or Architectural Engineering/Diploma qualified
- Minimum of 8 years experience in Landscape (Soft/Hard)
- Previous site inspection experience
- Understanding of British, American and International design standards. Working knowledge of ICAO standards would be a distinct benefit
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English essential
