Inspector - Architectural Building construction

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of building construction projects at various stages and document findings precisely.
• Verify compliance with approved architectural drawings, building codes, and UAE construction regulations.
• Analyze construction materials, methods, and workmanship against established quality standards.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain records of inspections, violations, and corrective actions.
• Identify deficiencies, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues and communicate them to project managers and contractors.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve construction-related issues.
• Photograph and document construction progress and areas of concern for project records.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during inspections.
• Recommend corrective measures and verify that required corrections are implemented.
• Communicate professionally with stakeholders about inspection outcomes and project status.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in buildings projects.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture.
• Proven experience as a Building Inspector, Construction Inspector, or in a similar inspection role.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical plans.
• Proficiency in quality assurance and compliance verification procedures.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection schedules efficiently.
• Background in construction project management or site supervision is preferred.
