About the Role
Core & Main is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to facilitate the sales process via phone and email, manage customer orders and quotations, and support outside sales. The role requires 2-5 years of inside sales experience and strong computer skills.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate the sales process through project management and tracking open sales orders
- Prospect for new sales opportunities via outbound calling and emailing
- Provide product pricing using pricing matrix and maintain target margin goals
- Procure and maintain inventory; monitor inventory turns
- Ensure timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction
- Work at sales counter to serve in store customers
- Handle customer inquiries and problem resolution
- Perform estimating, take off, and proposal duties
Requirements
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of inside sales experience
- Experience with inventory sales
- Associate degree preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Forklift Certification preferred

Job Summary

- May directly or indirectly support outside sales.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities
- Facilitate the sales process through project management, tracking open sales orders, issue resolution, and customer service.
- Prospect for new sales opportunities via outbound calling and emailing.
- Provide product pricing by consulting pricing matrix.
- Procure and maintain inventory; monitor inventory turns.
- Ensure timely shipment of materials and customer satisfaction.
- Work at sales counter to serve in store customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and problem resolution.
- Perform estimating, take off, and proposal duties.
- May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of inside sales experience.
- Experience with inventory sales.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Strong computer skills desired.
- Forklift Certification Preferred.
