Role overview
Develop technical solutions for customers in India across savoury, seasoning, snack, and related food segments.
Work with commercial and technical teams in India and Asia Pacific to support customer and business needs.
Conduct laboratory and pilot plant trials independently.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hands-on trials to evaluate ingredients, blends, and solutions across multiple food categories.
- Handle processing equipment used in savoury, seasoning, snack, and dairy segments.
- Complete customer and internal application projects on time, including problem solving and supplier evaluations.
- Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams on customer responses, tradeshows, and Innovation Days.
- Create, introduce, train, and roll out innovative solution blends.
- Identify new product and application opportunities from suppliers and market trends.
- Train commercial teams and customers on Brenntag's product portfolio.
- Support supplier knowledge transfer, customer visits, prototype demonstrations, and regional technical cooperation.
Requirements
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, or Food Engineering.
- At least 10 years of Food Technologist or research and development experience in the food and beverage industry.
