About the roleThis role will be responsible for providing telephone triage services to clients that are injured at work. The role includesAssessing a client's symptoms following injury or illness in accordance with clinical protocolsProviding clinical advice and supportProvision of early injury management advice and first aid Recommending further medical or allied health services as requiredImplementing new approaches and processes to meet the needs of our businessAs a 24/7 service operating every day of the year, the Triage Service requires Casual Triage Nurses who are adaptable and flexible in their availability. Candidates should be willing to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays, and be able to respond to short-notice staffing needs when required.About you We want you if you have:Experience as a Registered Nurse (Division 1 ) with at least 3 years clinical experience in a hospital or medical practice is required Experience as a telephone triage nurse is advantageousSuperior clinical nursing assessment skillsStrengths in building rapport and relationships with clientsA reputation as a strong communicatorConfidence working with technology and good computer literacy skillsA passion for delivering high quality patient careThe ability to multi-task with great time management skills (who can manage and meet deadlines)The ability to be a team player who can also work autonomouslyTo be eligible to work from home you will need a suitable internet connection and home officeYou will be joining an innovative organisation that values people and believes in making a difference.
