Role Overview
Build foundational technology systems for a quantitative equity fund at the intersection of finance and technology.
The technology infrastructure team supports a hybrid on-premise and cloud-based platform.
The team works with distributed computing, petabyte-scale data storage, containerization, databases, orchestration, monitoring, visualization, and DevOps.
What You Will Do
- Engineer and support software and systems infrastructure.
- Introduce foundational technologies that improve software engineering capabilities.
- Collaborate with software development teams on infrastructure support issues and improvements.
- Align priorities across application development, IT, network security, and other stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Improve infrastructure reliability and analyze metrics for performance tuning and fault finding.
- Support business continuity planning and implement infrastructure solutions.
- Own the technology infrastructure life cycle.
What You Bring
- Hold an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree in a computer-related field, or demonstrate exceptional programming skills gained through work experience.
