Responsibilities
- Oversee IT and operational infrastructure including networks, hardware, point of sale systems, and related software
- Monitor system performance, manage upgrades and maintenance
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Troubleshoot technical issues and document configurations and processes
- Support the team in using technology tools effectively
- Plan for scalability and resilience, aligning infrastructure with business goals
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing IT infrastructure including networks, servers, POS systems, and end user devices in a small to medium business
- Strong skills in system administration, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
- Knowledge of information security best practices, backup and recovery procedures, and basic compliance requirements
- Experience coordinating with external vendors and service providers
- Ability to document infrastructure and communicate technical information to non technical team members
- Strong organizational and time management skills suitable for part time hybrid work
- Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or food and beverage operations is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Comfort working in a multicultural environment

Role Description
- Part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with on site presence at The Bay Indian Restaurant and some work from home flexibility.
- Involves overseeing IT and operational infrastructure including networks, hardware, point of sale systems, and related software.
