Employment and schedule
- The position is full-time and requires five working days per week.
- The shift timing is the US shift, from 6 PM to 3 AM IST.
- Alternative schedules and after-hours work may be required.
Work location
- The mode of work is from the office.
- The listed work locations are Noida, Hyderabad, or Trivandrum.
Experience and education
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering and 7 or more years of relevant experience are required.
- The role requires high-level knowledge of Linux servers, Windows servers, databases, and networking.
- The role requires design-level expertise with SaaS operating platforms.
- Knowledge of VMware virtual systems and cloud infrastructure in a managed service environment is required.
Essential duties
- Support engineering teams with development and testing activities.
- Diagnose and resolve end-to-end application-stack issues involving connectivity, traffic, authentication, SSL, and application debugging.
- Perform system administration including installation, patching, log analysis, and customer account setup.
- Document server and network topology, equipment, and configurations.
- Advance automation and configuration management practices.
- Create, test, maintain, and execute the disaster recovery plan.
- Coordinate with hosting services, managed providers, and contracted support.
- Support capacity planning and technical specifications for server and networking purchases.
