Role Overview
Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a Project Controls Review and Assurance Consultant.
The role supports factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure through project controls leadership and assurance.
Project Controls Leadership
- Lead cost, schedule, estimating, risk, and other project controls personnel on high-risk projects, programs, or portfolios.
- Manage project controls staff, plans, budgets, delivery activities, resources, and team performance.
- Implement project controls processes and interfaces from project or portfolio inception through completion.
- Direct integrated, compliant, efficient, and cost-effective project controls services.
- Oversee client, consultant, and service-provider interfaces and manage senior customer relationships.
- Lead meetings to review progress, resolve issues, mitigate risk, and negotiate scope changes.
- Review scope, schedules, milestones, budgets, and KPIs and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations for project teams, clients, executives, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, training, quality oversight, and continuous improvement leadership.
Working Conditions
- The position is office-based four days per week.
Experience and Education
- Minimum 15 years of project controls experience in a rail transit project or large capital infrastructure program.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team in a senior role.
- Bachelor’s degree in program, project, or commercial management, or a related field.
- Recognized certification from PMI, AACE, or one or more similar professional institutions.
Skills and Competencies
- Expert knowledge of scheduling, cost, estimating, and risk software such as P6, Ecosys, and ARM.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience establishing project controls systems, identifying risks, negotiating contracts, and managing competing priorities.
- Strong supervision, delegation, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and team development capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while supporting client goals and industry best practices.
Compensation
- The British Columbia annual base salary range is $141,000 to $211,000.
- Compensation varies based on office location, role, skills, and experience.
