Role Description

The Information Technology Support Technician - Hardware & Systems Maintenance is a full-time, on-site role based in the Riyadh Region.

The technician will provide day-to-day technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware, including installation, configuration, and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware issues, performing computer repairs, and supporting printers and peripheral devices to minimize downtime for users.

The role also involves responding to support tickets, documenting solutions, and escalating complex issues when necessary.

The technician will collaborate with the broader IT team to ensure stable, secure, and reliable operation of end-user systems in alignment with company standards and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical support skills, including user assistance, incident handling, and basic systems maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with desktop computers and laptops, including installation, configuration, and hardware upgrades.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics for hardware, operating systems, and connectivity issues.
  • Practical experience in printer support and peripheral device setup, maintenance, and problem resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability in computer repair, component replacement, and preventive maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, basic networking concepts, and IT ticketing tools.
  • Relevant technical diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, hardware certifications) are an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN) and network troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Ability to work on-site, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and follow safety and security guidelines.
  • Good command of English.
