Role Description
We are seeking an Information Technology Support Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Masqaţ, Oman.
The incumbent will be responsible for providing technical support by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, responding to help desk inquiries, and ensuring system performance.
The role also entails assisting in system administration tasks and contributing to the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure.
The candidate will work closely with the team to deliver high-quality IT support to internal users and external clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Support, Troubleshooting, and Help Desk Support
- Strong knowledge of Information Technology and System Administration
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues effectively
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills to interact with both technical and non-technical users
- Prior experience in an IT support or engineering role is highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, network and cyber security certifications or similar are an advantage
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
